Had an impulse idea, so I figure I would post it here in the spirit of this Experiments section.

No pretending at all that this is an original design. The original design read “John& Paul& Ringo& George” and was created by Experimental Jetset. Since then, there had been many imitations, with the names of members of different bands.
In any case, someone needs to make a shirt like this. A quick search online resulted in no such shirt, which was surprising, since the original was so beautifully simply designed and has appeared in the Helvetica documentary.

Just playing with my name. Sort of copying the “I amsterdam” campaign, which I never really understood from a grammatical standpoint. At least with mine, you don’t encounter that problem at all; it’s just a name. Could be used as a cheesy self-branding piece.

I don’t mean to clown on minimalism, for I used to be a fervent supporter of it. I just think that sometimes you do need more.
Notes from 12/15/08:
Really minimalist, Helvetica.

A few months ago, I was looking through the photos from one of my former Design teachers’ Facebook albums. One of the photos was a random looking design piece. The captions for that photo were instructions to generate some text and image, which you will use to put together into a album cover.
